We all had a jolly good time at our Christmas Pajama Party. Even Santa and Mrs. Claus showed up! The gift exchange was a hoot as we all got to steal from each other a couple of times. No members were harmed in the melee! There were prizes for the best pajamas; there was also 6 rounds of bingo with great prizes. A good time was had by all. For those of you who were not able to attend, you were missed!

2022 Labor Day Weekend Cruise to Northern New Mexico - Day 3-4
Our August Club Cruise took us to Hatch, New Mexico. We met at Rudy's on the west side and departed at 9:30am. We had a large group, 19 Vettes, that took part in the cruise. We drove up the scenic Hwy 28 to Hatch. When we arrived we had a delicious lunch at Sparky's. We enjoyed our meal while listening to Guitar Slim. Afterwards, we did some browsing around in the Hatch Mercantile. Thanks to all who attended, to our new members, and to the West Texas Vettes members that joined us as well!
The Club got together at "Duet's" Karaoke Club on Montana Street to have some fun! It was great to hear all of the talent come from these members and spend some time together.
2022 June Cruise to Cloudcroft Highlights
The June 2022 Cruise to Cloudcroft was Sunday, June 12th. At an elevation of 8,675′, and a temperature in the mid 70s, we escaped the triple digit heat of El Paso and enjoyed our time in this small village in the Lincoln National Forest in Otero County, New Mexico.
The El Paso Corvette Club was joined by West Texas Vettes and Phantom Vettes. This marked a new era of camaraderie and collaboration by these Borderland Corvette clubs. Four generations of America’s Sportscar and new friendships marked a great day of cruising the roads of New Mexico. The day included lunch at Cloudcroft Brewing Company, photoshoots, and a stop on the way home for some of the group at McGinn’s PistachioLand. A special thanks to EPCC member, Tracy Heal, for this awesome drone shot!
Thank you Bill and Nancy Driscoll for hosting our latest "Grub with the Club". It was a great fun with delicious food!
The club gathered at Rudy's BBQ and traveled to New Mexico Farm and Ranch Heritage Museum in Las Cruses. It was a beautiful day for a cruise and to see all the exhibits at the museum. Pictures were taken of every one of our corvettes on the historic Green Bridge. We finished the cruise with a delicious lunch at the Pecan Grill and Brewery!!
2022 Cruise to Boerne - Day 1 Meet & Greet
The club met early in the morning at Cotton Eye'd Joe's in Clint to begin our 500 mile cruise to Boerne, Texas. Our plan was to make it in time for the Texas Corvette Association Open Car Show Meet and Greet for some refreshments, make new friends from around the country, and to get our placards for the car show.
2022 Cruise to Boerne - Day 2 The Car Show
Here are some pics of our cruise and car show at the Texas Corvette Association Open Car Show in Boerne. There were over 480 beautiful rides there and this is just a sample that begins with some of our own El Corvette Club Vettes. Serious eye-candy here in Corvette Heaven!
2022 Cruise to Boerne - Day 3 Hill Country
Day 3 we launched out on our own cruise to Hill Country and stopped at Canyon Lake; had a lunch at a nice Italian restaurant, Genaro Trattoria; stopped at “world-renowned” Buc-ee’s for pics, and it was the biggest dang beaver I have ever seen! On our way back to our hotel, we encountered San Antonio traffic, which is why we live in El Paso! We concluded our day enjoying each other’s antics and the evening festivities.
2022 Cruise to Boerne - Day 4 The Road Home
After a great cruise and weekend, reality set in as we got ready to launch out on the road home. As we were about to leave our hotel, we introduced you to Chase. A nice young man from Pennsylvania who is a big fan of Corvettes. When his mom saw all the Vettes in the parking lot, she shared her sons love for the cars. Lou invited him to meet us and to start his Z06. We gifted him a model Corvette and made him an honorary member of our club. As you saw in the video, when Chase pushed the starter and the engine roared to life, so did this young man’s smile…worth a Billion Dollars. In honor of being a club member and future driver, he was given an EPCC baseball cap. We hope that Chase will remember us warmly when he buys his first Corvette. Safe driving Chase!
As we headed west on that long, long, long ride across Texas, we stopped in Fort Stockton for lunch and to celebrate Rudy Alba’s birthday with ice cream cones! Happy Birthday, Rudy! And Happy Trails to us as we motored our way back to El Paso and made plans for our next adventures.
